Kitchen and Bathroom Cabinets for Amherst, NH Homes
Amherst has two sides, and we work in both. There is the historic village, with antique capes and colonials around the green, and there are the newer neighborhoods off Route 101 and along the 101A corridor. Our showroom is in Nashua on Amherst Street itself, about 15 minutes out the same road, so Amherst homeowners are some of the closest we serve. In-home measures are easy to schedule, and you are welcome at the showroom any time we are open.
Amherst projects often lean traditional, and we like that. Painted perimeter cabinets, a stained island, hardware that will not feel dated in five years: the goal is a kitchen that suits the house and reads as cohesive rather than trend-chasing. In the village antiques, that also means planning around real-world conditions, the out-of-plumb walls and settled floors that come with an older New England home, instead of pretending the room is a perfect rectangle.
Cabinets by Design is a husband-and-wife studio. Danielle leads the design, selections, and sourcing. Her husband Kyle is a contractor and master electrician, and he handles the field measurements, trade coordination, and installation. We carry three semi-custom lines from MasterBrand: Mantra, Diamond, and Decora. Semi-custom is the sweet spot for most Amherst homes, giving you real choice in door style, finish, and storage without fully custom pricing or timelines. Mantra delivers in about two weeks. Every project begins with a free design consultation and a free in-home measure.
We are deliberately not a snooty luxury studio. What we offer is great design, real construction knowledge, and reasonable, honest pricing, with straightforward advice along the way. If a smaller change gets you what you want, we will say so. That is how we would want to be treated in our own home.
